For Black Friday, the classic Off The Matrix DX7 patches are now paired with the Advanced banks—four collections that reveal what the DX7 is truly capable of. Designed over the last two decades, these patches reflect modern production styles.
 Many of the the patches were inspired from patches from the SY99, so some patches such as the Ranks 8' & 4' and Sect Pizz are ideal for layering with samples.
Thanks to the DX7’s six-operator, velocity-sensitive FM engine, these sounds feel alive and expressive—far more dynamic than the ROMpler presets of the time. If they had dropped in the ’80s, they might have rewritten the DX7’s legacy. Included in both SysEx and GM formats.
