This bank showcases the true capability of the legendary Roland D-50. Some great emulations of Yamaha DX7 were possible. The dynamics of many of the sounds comes from the 4 layers of the D-50 responding differently to velocity levels. Huge ethereal pads, pulsating analog and great basses are covered. Although a drum kit was not represented in the sample ROM, a techno kit was possible. The patches go far beyond the "canned" samples sound of the ROMplers of the period. If these patches came out in the 80's they my have changed history. The banks come in two formats, SysEx and General MIDI files.
